Finding the Soul

Sept. 14, 2014

And in that silence I in silence dwelt.

Time fled, the days, the weeks, the lonely hours,

Immersed in peace by the Samadhi knelt

Surrounded by the fragrance of the flowers,

The incense spires rising in the night,

Pounding of the sea against the shore,

The raucous crows ready to take flight;

All this I too experienced, but more,

An offering of self as one alone

Meets a vastness, hears a voice within,

A being from far births yet faintly known,

Saying, "Discard the vain idea of sin,

For deep in you is hid the holy grail.

Finding the soul life's mission cannot fail."
